Giovonnie Lavette Samuels, born Santa Ana on November 13, 1990 and raised in San Diego, California, the oldest of three. Her love for the stage started at the age of 8 in her first major role was in Tide To The Tracks. Spotted by a talent scout, she was asked to attend the  San Diego School of Creative and Performing Arts. There she gained her training in classical ballet, art, and perfect her skills in acting. At the age of 13, she audition for Nickelodeon's All That and got the part. In 2004, Giovonnie and her cast mates won a Nickelodeon's Kids Choice Award for "Favorite TV Show". Later that year Giovonnie stared in a new Bill Cosby cartoon called Fatherhood with Blair Underwood that lasted for 2 seasons. Since her 3 year run on All That, she has guest stared on episodes of That’s So RavenThe Suite Life of Zack and Codyand Raising Hope. Her most know projects are Bring It On; All or Nothing with Hayden Panettiere, Francia Raisa and Solange Knowles, Freedom Writers with Hilary Swank. Now a reoccurring guest star on Mr. Box Office on Centric TV with Bill Bellamy, John Lovitz, Vivica Fox, and Essence AtkinsIn her spare time Giovonnie loves to teach acting to young inner city kids.
